Educators and therapists often include our Psychology of Happiness materials in their programs because they provide an almost "monitor-free," self-study course for students or clients -- with potential happiness and mental health gains which can be documented!
Ideally, we suggest the procedure used in our own research studies:
First, establish a baseline by pretesting with The Psychap Inventory (or Happinesss Measures) to assess the current "happiness status" for each of your students or clients.
Second, once informed with the results of their initial testing, then any of our educational materials can be provided to help them learn about the "Psychology of Happiness." Here you might choose to loan video-series episodes from the TeleCourse Dr. Michael Fordyce's Psychology of Happiness, or provide them a Psychology of Happiness: Brief Version booklet, or direct them to this website to read the "on-line" book Human Happiness. Any of these can instruct the way to happiness self- improvement!
At a later date, an equivalent version of The Psychap Inventory (or a retest with the Happiness Measures) can be used to assess and document any happiness progress.
By combining these educational and testing options, you can add as much or as little to your teaching, counseling, or workshop agenda as you wish...
